Previously come july 1st, we offered a workshop on sex and racial justice to a band of teens in nyc. The two-hour workshop zipped by, as well as the finish, a tiny huddle of teens stayed back again to continue the discussion. In place of asking questions regarding the workshop, these were keen on my own life. They asked me personally if I experienced a boyfriend or if perhaps I’d ever smoked weed — typical teenage curiosities. When I shared freely together with them, i really could feel them becoming more comfortable. (more…)
